Newsboys: Thrive from The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum

Thrive is the ninth studio album by Christian pop rock band Newsboys, released in 2002. It features the singles "It Is You," "Million Pieces (Kissin' Your Cares Goodbye)," and "Lord (I Don't Know)." Thrive debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 charts, selling 37,000 units. In 2005, the album was re-released as Thrive – Special Edition which bundled the album with the previously released concert DVD From The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

Hair metal had gone the way of hair-crimping and spandex when VH1 resuscitated the genre for its 2005 album series METAL MANIA, which featured stripped-down, acoustic versions of hair-metal ballads and anthems like "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and "Rock You Like a Hurricane." The 19-track set finds the band in top form, showcasing such band staples as "Marie Marie," "Border Radio" and "I’m Shaking." Adding to the magic of the evening are guest spots by a few of the band’s idols: Sun Records recording artist Sonny Burgess, harpist Billy Boy Arnold, and surviving members from doo-wop legends The Calvanes and The Medallions. The Blasters Live! Going Home documents the band nearly 25 years after its formation. They’ve never sounded – or looked - better.

As the title would suggest, this represents footage James filmed of all three members of LSD MARCH (SHINSUKE MICHISHITA, IKURO TAKAHASHI, MASAMI KAWAGUCHI) performing solo sets at Phillys best book store, BigJar, while on a short US tour in the fall of 2006. Shinsuke and Masamis renderings represent a Japanese working of psychy folk for guitar and vocals. Ikuro offers a contrasted short piece of oscillator assemble that is firmly rooted in the avant-garde, with overtones of conceptualist art, found sound, and experimentalism.

John Martyn: The Apprentice In Concert - With Dave Gilmour

In 1990, guitarist and vocalist John Martyn embarked on a series of concerts at London's Shaw Theatre, to promote his comeback album 'The Apprentice'. These concerts were filmed and then released on videocassette on the same album. Many years later, a DVD release is now available for the first time, much to the delight of fans of Martyn and his music; the performance is also notable for the presence, as a guest on guitar, of Dave Gilmour of Pink Floyd.
