Charles Mingus showcases three exceptional concerts performed in April 1964 featuring his most celebrated lineup--Jaki Byard (piano), Dannie Richmond (drums), Johnny Coles (trumpet), Clifford Jordan (tenor sax) and the great Eric Dolphy (alto sax, flute and bass clarinet). Recorded within an eight-day span, less than three months before Dolphy's death, the three concerts showcase Mingus's visionary leadership and the band's incredible depth and diversity with unique performances and arrangements of classics including "So Long Eric" and the groundbreaking "Meditations On Integration".

With ‘Living Being IV: Time Reflexion’, Vincent Peirani and his quintet have created an album deeply rooted in a reflection on our times. During the first lockdown, the accordionist took advantage of this enforced break to reflect on the impact of time on our existence and our view of the world.

On July 18th, 2008 Tangerine Dream performed an open air concert as part of the "Night Of The Prog Festival" at the Loreley Rock at the river Rhine in Germany. On this occasion, they released the 'mini cupdisc' Das Romantische Opfer. As most of TD's concerts of recent years, the gig was filmed and finally released at the end of 2008 as Loreley on DVD. The single DVD comes with a four page insert featuring photos of the line-up, credits and the track listing. The animated menu provides the options to play the complete concert as well as to start from individual tracks, to view the credits or a "Behind The Scenes" bonus feature, and to do the audio setup (Stereo 2.0 or Dolby Surround 5.1).

Headers, fouls, dribbling, runs, goalmouth dramas are juxtaposed, slowed down, repeated and at the same time embellished acoustically in such an apt and lively manner by the music of the leading German jazz and rock guitarist Volker Kriegel, that even the viewer spoilt by live soccer will enjoy seeing it. The artistes of the bid ball become leading dancers at the penalty mark. Slow motion, animation, modification or restriction of color further lend emphasis to the close interaction with the musical movements, achieving a positive unity, regardless weather attention is focussed on the goalkeeper, on team play, on vigorous tackling or on goalmouth excitement, which are all synchronized in sequence form with the musical sections. The short film anthology MusicStories brings classical music to life through the art of storytelling. MusicStories takes you on a cinematic journey through classical music. It draws on various genres and visual languages - from black-and-white silent films to historical melodramas and romantic comedies. Specially interpreted classics such as Beethoven's “Für Elise” and “In the Hall of the Mountain King” by Edvard Grieg serve as the film music. The format creates a new kind of access to the audience through the symbiosis of classical music and narrative film.

Failing in this, he disguises himself as Amphitryon (Alkemene's husband) and tries again. Next morning Amphitryon and his men come back from war; he suspects adultery and wants a divorce. Jupiter's wife Juno now also comes to earth and clears things up.

"Vision and Voice" is the first live performance recording by Polish death metal band Vader. It was released in VHS format on December 1, 1998 by Metal Mind. The album consists Vader concert filmed and recorded on March 25, 1998 at Studio Łęg in Kraków, Poland. The DVD edition entitled "More Vision and the Voice" was released on June 3, 2002 by Metal Mind. Apart from main concert recorded in Kraków the re-release includes tree video-clips, eight bootleg live tracks from No Mercy Festival 2001, interview with Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek, band and individual members biographies, discography, photo gallery, desktop images, art gallery, and weblinks. The release was remastered, and converted to Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround at Studio 333 in Częstochowa, Poland by Bartłomiej Kuźniak.

"Le storie cantante. Journey among the Cantastorie of Puglia" is a documentary that forms part of a broader research project developed by the authors, tracing the roots of Apulian musical tradition—both written and oral. The journey begins with the imagined arrival of Aeneas on the shores of Porto Badisco. The path is shaped by the testimonies of singers of Southern identity, from Uccio Aloisi to Tonino Zurlo, from Enzo Del Re to the choral ensemble Cantori di Carpino, concluding with Matteo Salvatore. Alongside these performer-authors—cantastorie who can be seen as forerunners of modern singer-songwriters (as in the case of Salvatore)—stand contributions from ethnomusicologist and musician Antonio Infantino, director, actor and writer Moni Ovadia, Neapolitan jazz musician Daniele Sepe, and director and actor Michele Placido.

For the past few weeks, revolt has been brewing in the Kingdom of Naples. The handsome Castelli is at the head of the conspiracy that wants to put an end to the reign of King Murat. A look at the entire process of creating and developing Patrice Chéreau’s third staging of "In the Solitude of Cotton Fields" by Bernard Marie Koltès with Pascal Greggory and Chéreau himself. From the first reading around the table through the first contact with the performance space, rehearsals and lighting to opening night, the entire creative process unfurls in front of our eyes. The film shows us the evolving and ongoing dialogue between Greggory and Chéreau, a dialogue full of crises and magical moments of harmony and insight via which the truth, intensity, complexity, mystery and depth of Koltès’ text gradually emerge to form an implicit bond between these two men. The film also shows Chéreau directing rehearsals for Mozart’s "Don Giovanni" in Salzburg, revealing both the unity of and profound differences between his opera and theater work.
