Les noces - one of Stravinsky's last works on Russian themes (first performed in 1923 with choreography by Bronislava Nijinskaya). Stravinsky's "The Wedding" is a vivid example of the "rhythmic" music characteristic of the work of the composers of the 1920s and 1930s. Rhythm in it is not only the primary organizing principle, but also the most important factor of musical language. It is characteristic that the composer here does not need either strings or wind instruments: the score of the Wedding, in addition to the voices, consists of percussion, which requires six performers at once, as well as four pianos, which are used here as a special kind of percussion.

Live at the Whisky: Snowball of Doom is the third live album by Racer X. It was recorded on May 25, 2001 at the Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood, California at Racer X's first live concert since their hiatus. The concert was also recorded and released on DVD.

The Clifford Ball was an absolutely phenomenal, unequivocally religious, amazing event at the former Air Force Base in Plattsburgh, New York, in August 1996. Phish performed three sets and an encore on each of the two show days of a Friday-to-Sunday event, where some 70-80,000 fans camped on site for three days.

The Reality of My Surroundings – Past to Present is a career retrospective (1979-1991) of the alternative rock band Fishbone. The video includes live shots and commentary from the band, as well as all of the band's promotional videos from MTV. It was released shortly after the band's successful The Reality of My Surroundings album in 1991. In this retrospective spanning, Fishbone delivers mind blowing p[performances & videos that would make them a major influence on later bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and No Doubt. Highlights from the collection include "Party at Ground Zero," "Modern Industry," and the blistering video "Sunless Saturday." Directed by Spike Lee.

In the spring of 1961 Simone Forti presented a program titled Five Dance Constructions and Some Other Things in a concert series organized by her friend, composer La Monte Young, at the New York loft studio of Yoko Ono. These radically new dances created circumstances for the performers’ direct, non-stylistic actions. Each of the pieces was performed in a different place in the loft, with the audience moving from location to location to view them. Some of the pieces required elementary structures – a hanging rope, rectangular wooden boxes – which were placed throughout the loft like a sculptural installation. In 2004 the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles invited Forti to re-create these dance constructions at the Geffen Contemporary space, in conjunction with the exhibition A Minimalist Future? Art as Object 1958 – 1986.

This new Dynamic opera was performed in Donizetti's native city of Bergamo, during the most important world festival dedicated to the Italian composer. The opera is set in a rural environment and the action takes place in a country farm. It is a brilliant comedy with many points of contact with semi-serious operas. The choice of this subject must have been strongly influenced by the successes of Vincenzo Bellini's La Sonnambula. The music is folksy and the melodic writing frank and straightforward with a broad variety of passages of high technical content and more elegiac in character; such is the case of the most famous piece in the whole opera, the aria "Una furtiva lagrima", which is also the leitmotiv of the soundtrack of the 2005 film Match Point, directed by Woody Allen.

It gradually becomes clear that you can always put yourself in the right with Bob, because everybody can distil their own truth from his lyrics, as long as you interpret them creatively.

The Great Misdirect is the fifth studio album by American progressive metal band Between the Buried and Me. It was released on October 27, 2009 through Victory Records and was produced by Jamie King.[9] Despite containing only six tracks (their least tracked full-length release to date), the album reaches nearly an hour in total time length. The album contains some of their lengthier songs such as "Swim to the Moon" which surpasses 17 minutes. Frontman, Tommy Giles Rogers described The Great Misdirect as "some of the best material we've ever created. The deluxe edition of the album was released on October 26, it included a "making of" documentary about the album, a walk through of all the band members' gear, and a 5.1 surround sound mix of the album. The name of the record is derived from the last line of the song "Obfuscation".
