Tokko is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tohru Fujisawa. It was serialized in Kodansha's Afternoon in 2003 and collected into 3 tankōbon volumes. An anime adaptation directed by Masashi Abe, animated by AIC Spirits and Group Tac, first aired in Japan on April 15, 2006 and ran for 13 episodes. The manga was licensed in North America by Tokyopop, who released the first volume on July 15, 2008. The anime was licensed in the United States and United Kingdom by Manga Entertainment, with its first DVD released on March 20, 2007, and in Australasia by Madman Entertainment. In the US the SciFi Channel aired Tokko in 2007, in 2010 it aired on Chiller, while in Canada it was shown on Super Channel.

Code-E is a Japanese anime television series animated by Studio DEEN. It is based on an original concept by Ichiro Sakaki and directed by Toshiyuki Katō. The first season consists of twelve episodes and first aired in Japan on July 3, 2007 to September 23, 2007. A second season titled Mission-E began airing in July 2008. A new lead character named Maori Kimizuka will be joining Chinami in the sequel.

Musashi Gundoh is set in a fictional feudal era of Japan, where the Toyotomi Shogunate (instead of Tokugawa) governs the nation. The anime tells the story of Musashi, a young practitioner of electro-sword and his "gundoh", a martial art involving the use of guns. This show deals with Musashi's battles against a group of monsters called "Ayakashi" and his quest to win the love of the beautiful princess Kaguyahime.

During WW2 a strange new alien, the Genjuu (幻獣), appeared who's sole purpose is to kill off Humanity. Whenever they appear the Genjuu give off a strange odor that is acid to a human and killed off a lot of the warriors sent to fight it. Flash foward 50 years. Hayami Atsushi is a pilot of the 5121. They use new mecha (HWTs) and special anti alien suits made by the Shibamura group. One day they get a new transfer student. Ichinomiya Kantarou grew up with the ability to see demons, but was isolated and bullied by others who did not share the same gift. Instead, he became friends with the demons, gaining a great attachment to their existence. One day, Kantarou was told about the strongest demon, the one known as the ogre-eating Tengu. Amazed by the news of his strength, Kantarou vowed to find this demon who was far stronger than any other, deciding to call him Haruka when he did so. Since this time, Kantarou searched far and wide for the ogre-eating Tengu with no luck, making his living by becoming a folklore writer and demon-buster. On a particularly difficult job, Kantarou had finally found news of a nearby shrine supposedly the place where the ogre-eating Tengu was sealed.

Yukiya Ayase is a gentle, kindhearted, and innocent university student. The only relative he has left, his cousin Tetsuo, betrays Ayase with hopes of making an enormous profit to be able to pay off his debts. Somuku Kanou, a bad-tempered (though very rich) loan shark, comes to Ayase's rescue. Kanou apparently knows Ayase from something that happened between them in the past, but Ayase cannot remember who Kanou is, nor does he understand why he "saved" him.
